About me

Dr. Rebekah Jamieson-Craig
BSc (Hons), DClinPsy, CPsychol, PGDip Clinical Neuropsychology

I am a senior clinical psychologist specialising in neuropsychology and clinical health psychology, with over 15 years’ experience working with adults following acquired brain injury in post-acute inpatient, slow-stream rehabilitation settings and the community, alongside five-years experience working in a cardiac rehabilitation team. I am passionate about helping people and their families make sense of life after brain injury or health condition diagnoses, combining evidence-based psychological therapies with a compassionate, practical approach to rehabilitation. While assisting these client groups, I have also spent time working through more general mental health issues that affect all individuals to varying degrees.

Over the course of my career, I have led clinical neuropsychology services within the NHS and independent sector, including roles as Lead Clinical Psychologist in neuro-rehabilitation and Clinical Director/Lead Clinical Neuropsychologist. I currently lead the clinical psychology team in a busy, inner-London cardiac rehabilitation service. I regularly support individuals with complex cognitive, emotional and behavioural challenges, and provide consultation, supervision and training to multidisciplinary teams.

I am also certified to assess and treat people who are struggling with the effects of ADHD in everyday life.

For many years, I have developed and run the “Understanding Brain Injury” group programme, which offers structured education, space for reflection, and peer support to those living with the effects of brain injury. This work has led to the creation of practical resources for clinicians who wish to deliver similar groups, reflecting my commitment to making high-quality neuropsychological rehabilitation more widely accessible. Following this group programme, a further programme focusing on the needs of the family members has now been created. In addition to these groups, a group aimed at assisting people who have been diagnosed with cardiac problems come to terms with these life-changing events is also in production.

I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at University College London and continue to draw on current research to inform my clinical practice. In 2025, I completed the PGDip in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Bristol. I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and am registered to practice with the HCPC. Whether I am working directly with clients, supporting families, or supervising other professionals, my focus is always on promoting understanding, adjustment and meaningful recovery following life events.
